  • Ray Hurst has been made a Life Member of Calmore Sports Club following over 40 years involvement.  He made his debut for the 1st XI in 1976, playing over 100 games in the Hampshire League and taking 300 wickets at just under 13 runs apiece.  He subsequently became a great supporter, alongside his wife Dot, and was also Loperwood Park groundsman for a number of years.  Many congratulations Ray – a very deserved reward for such excellent services to Calmore Sports.
